WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU HAD NO FEAR?

"Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway." ― John Wayne

How would you live if you had no fear at all?

Think about it. Would you...

  • Quit your job?

  • Start a business?

  • Speak your truth?

  • Say yes more?

  • Stop drinking alcohol?

  • Run a marathon?

  • Travel the world?

  • Create art?

  • Say no more?

  • Climb a mountain?

Courageous people are still afraid, but they don't let the fear paralyze them.

A little secret. Every time I share from my heart with the world - I feel fear — every post, video, etc. But the more I do it, the more I step into my braver higher-self. The more I stop playing small, the bigger my life gets. It's scary most of the time - and so worth it. That's why I feel passionate about encouraging you and your dreams!

"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage." ― Anais Nin

How many fears are holding you back? Where could you use more courage in your life?

Could you train yourself to be more courageous? Stand up to your fears today and take one small action! One step in the direction of your biggest fears - the concerns that are getting in the way of living your life fully. You know what - those same fears will be there five years from now... 10 years... 20 years and so on.

The trick is to decide to have courage and saddle up anyway and confront your inner voice - you know, the one that's telling you that it's a crazy idea or that you're not ready. And do one small thing today to start training your courage muscles!

So go ahead - get out your journal and pour your heart out. Write words that capture your calling and the whispers of your heart. Write down the things you say you'd do if you had more energy, time, money, etc. That thing! Write it down.

Some questions to ask yourself:

  • What’s your personal definition of courage?

  • Have there been times in your life when you’ve needed to be courageous? What did you do?

  • Is there someone in your life whom you would characterize as courageous? If so, in what ways?

  • Finish this sentence. I show courage by...

  • Describe an area of your life in which you wish you were more courageous? What is it, and how would you benefit?
